Belarus getting ready for European part of eurobonds roadshow, Belarusian Economy Minister says

Belarus is getting ready for the European part of the eurobonds roadshow, Belarusian Economy Minister Mr Nikolai Snopkov told media.“Now Belarus is getting ready for the second part of the roadshow – the European one. It can take place at the standard platforms of Frankfurt, London, Zurich, and Vienna,” said the Economy Minister. “A trip to these European centers can be rather positive and we expect a sizeable interest of investors from Europe”. Nikolai Snopkov spoke in positive terms about the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Hong Kong and Singapore where a roadshow of Belarusian eurobonds was arranged on 27-30 November. “There was an interest in our country. Moreover, we felt the positive evaluation of our actions in the economic sphere from the investors we have worked with before,” said the official. Foreign investors appreciated the correct actions Belarus has taken to recover from the crisis of the year 2011.
“The feeling that we are stabilized and are solvent is important both for us and investors. The quotations of our previously floated bonds indicate it. At present they have reached the historic minimum, they are below the floatation price. It is also important for us,” said Nikolai Snopkov.
