Belarus government approves 2016-2020 UNFPA country program

      The government has approved the country program of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) for Belarus for 2016-2020, the press service of the Belarus government told media.
      The country program has been worked out on the basis of the UNFPA’s strategic plan for 2014-2017 and the UN framework program for aiding Belarus for development purposes in 2016-2020.In line with the country program the UNFPA efforts will be focused on preparing and implementing projects in three main areas: reproductive health, gender equality and broader rights and opportunities for women, population number dynamics.
