The international jury of cinematographers has summed up the results of the National Film Schools Competition at the 22nd Minsk International Film Festival Listapad.
Inna Omelchenko’s Yamaha (Russia) was named the best young documentary film.
Diplomas of the National Film Schools Competition were presented to Alejandro Alonso’s The Farewell (Cuba), Yekaterina Kryuk’s Desertification (Belarus), Grzegorz Szczepaniak’s Snails (Poland), Pablo Rohas’ The Road to the Church (Russia).
Diplomas for opening and developing talents for the work on the Motherland went to the Department of Television and Arts of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University (Russia) and the School of A.N.Sokurov (Russia).
The jury led by Heidi Gronauer (Italy) comprised Alexandra Derevenko (the UK) and Andrei Kutilo (Belarus).
The National Film Schools Competition has been held since 2012. For the time being the competition has screened films of students and graduates of higher educational establishments of France, the UK, Germany, Slovenia, Georgia, Denmark, Italy, Finland and Belarus.
