Belarus would like to set up a joint venture in milk processing with Bangladesh, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vasily Kazakevich said at a government session to review the preparations of the visits of the Belarusian government delegation headed by Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich to Kazakhstan, India and Bangladesh.
Belarus is ready to offer Bangladesh not only finished products but also a joint milk processing arrangement. “The project is about the supply of Belarus-made dried milk for processing it into drinking milk and other products in Bangladesh,” Vasily Kazakevich said. Prospects are great for the two countries in cattle-breeding industry. Belarus is ready to supply Bangladesh with modern milking and other equipment.
According to the Deputy Minister, during the forthcoming visit to Bangladesh, the parties are set to sign a memorandum of understanding on the quality and safety of exported aquatic biological resources from Bangladesh. The document will allow the veterinary services of the two countries to agree on the terms of supply of fish products to Belarus from certified factories of Bangladesh.
Let’s note that the government delegation of Belarus headed by Mikhail Myasnikovich will travel on official visits to Kazakhstan and Bangladesh, and on a working visit to India from 8 November to 15 November.
