Chinese travel agents to visit Belarus in May

        Chinese travel agents will pay a familiarization visit to Belarus in late May, BelTA quotes from Deputy Director of the National Tourism Agency of Belarus Svetlana Gavrilova.
        In early May Belarus presented its tourism potential in Beijing. The event was attended by about 30 representatives of the tourism industry. Following the talks with Chinese travel agents a decision was taken to organize a visit for them to Belarus. “A 4-5-day familiarization tour for representatives of the Chinese tourism industry will take place in late May. Apart from Minsk we will offer them visiting Mir, Nesvizh, Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Berezinsky biosphere reserve, Brest Fortress, and the Khatyn Memorial,” Svetlana Gavrilova said. Battlefield and historical tourism arouses much interest in China. In this respect the National Tourism Agency is busy working the relevant routes for the guests. Besides, the list of China’s tourism preferences includes the familiarization with the modern architecture of the Belarusian capital.
