Experts of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) held consultations in Belarus regarding the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund loan, the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund reports. The team of EDB experts led by Director of the Anticrisis Fund project group Alisher Mirzoev paid a visit to Minsk to hold consultations with the Belarusian authorities. In March the Eurasian Development Bank received an application for the Anticrisis Fund financial loan to support the stabilization program run by the government and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus in 2015-2017.
The EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund Council authorized the allocation of a $3 billion financial loan to Belarus in 2011. The loan was to be allocated in six tranches in 2011-2013. Belarus received five tranches. In 2014 the time the loan will remain available was extended till 1 February 2015. The next session of the Anticrisis Fund Council will have to decide on allocating the sixth tranche of the loan.
