Lukashenko: Stability in Ukraine is impossible without USA

      Without the United States it is impossible to bring stability to Ukraine, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with Bloomberg.
      The head of state answered a number of questions concerning the process of settling the situation in Ukraine after the Minsk accords in the Normandy format were reached.
Alexander Lukashenko also spoke on the role of the world's leading players in the settlement of the Ukrainian situation and in maintaining the military and political stability in the world as a whole.

       "What is most disturbing is that the United States was not openly involved in the process.  I believe that without the Americans no stability is possible in Ukraine. When meeting recently with representatives of the United States of America, the official representatives who visited us, I strongly conveyed my view to them by saying that I do not know what the Americans want here, in Eastern Europe, particularly in Ukraine, but if they want peace and stability they should immediately engage in that process”.
