Belarusian army to get new radar stations in summer 2015

The radio warfare units of the Belarusian army will get new radar stations in summer 2015, we learned from Colonel Igor Nasibyants, chief of the radio warfare division of the air force and air defense command of the Belarusian army.
According to the source, this summer the Belarusian army will get another radar station Vostok-D and two mass-produced stations Rosa-RB. More of the latter will be supplied in 2016, too.  A radar station Rosa-RB has already been deployed in Brest Oblast. The Belarus-made radar station Vostok-D has been tested repeatedly during various army exercises in Belarus and Russia.
The radar station Vostok-D is a cutting-edge product with unique deployment and redeployment time — only eight minutes.
The radar station Rosa-RB is designed to detect low-flying targets. In an automated mode it can detect and recognize targets that fly at altitudes starting with 1m as far as 50km. It can detect both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles.
