Prospects of Belarus-EU relations discussed at Belarusian-Lithuanian consultations

       Prospects of the development of relations between Belarus and the European Union were discussed at consultations between representatives of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports. The consultations took place in Minsk on 4 February. The consultations were held at the level of deputy foreign ministers. The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Yelena Kupchina. The Lithuanian delegation was led by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrius Krivas.
    The sides discussed topical aspects of the bilateral interaction in the political sphere, economic sphere, transport and transit, cultural sphere, and in regional cooperation in detail. A number of joint events involving the ministries of foreign affairs and other agencies of the two countries are scheduled to take place in H1 2015.
