Belarus and Spain to sign an intergovernmental memorandum of cooperation

Belarus and Spain plan to sign an intergovernmental memorandum of cooperation in economy and industry, the Embassy of Belarus in France reports. Issues related to the development of Belarusian-Spanish relations were a major focus of interest during a working visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France and Spain Pavel Latushko to Spain.

While in Madrid, the Belarusian diplomat held eight meetings with representatives of government bodies, cultural establishments and public organizations. Pavel Latushko met with Director General for Foreign Policy, Multilateral Diplomacy and Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain Ignacio Ibanez. The parties discussed the prospects of developing bilateral relations. Special attention was paid to the development of trade and economic relations, the organization of future meetings at the level of agencies responsible for the trade and economic policy issues, organization of mutual business visits between the two countries.
