Service center for Belarusian vehicles to open in Ashgabat in 2015

A service center for Belarusian vehicles will be opened in Ashgabat in 2015, Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said as he visited the Belarusian-Turkmen exhibition of goods in Minsk, BelTA reports. In his words, the initial plans included the construction of a MAZ service center. The final decision was taken to construct a compound facility. “The center will sell trucks, provide maintenance services and address issues related to the training of the personnel - drivers, mechanics, electricians that are in demand in your country,” the Premier said.
When asked on the supplies of Belarusian equipment to Turkmenistan, Mikhail Myasnikovich said that Belarus is set to deliver about 2,500 vehicles to Turkmenistan. “It is about 1,500 tractors and nearly 1,000 MAZ trucks. The parties are currently negotiating the price,” the head of government said. Mikhail Myasnikovich stressed that the Belarusian product is popular on the Turkmenistan market.
