Sivak: Belarus, Latvia need to increase mutual investments in logistics


        The transport companies of Belarus and Latvia need to work on increasing mutual investments in the transport and logistics sector, Belarusian Transport and Communications Minister Anatoly Sivak told reporters after the roundtable "Belarusian-Latvian cooperation in the field of transport logistics,” BelTA reports.
"The parties need to promote cooperation not only between the associations but also to work to increase the mutual investments in the transport and logistics sector. This is the key to success of our transport corridor," said Anatoly Sivak.
      He stressed that today's signing of the documents was "a clear confirmation of the synchronous actions of the government bodies and business".
      The minister noted that the fruitful cooperation in rail and road transport, joint development of transport infrastructure and logistics, ensuring an enabling environment for transit through the territories of the two countries are the tools that help the transport industries of Belarus and Latvia to move towards progress and development.
