Belarusian football clubs are off to a good start at the UEFA Europa League qualification round.
FC Shakhter (Soligorsk) had an away victory over Ireland’s Derry City FC 1-0. The game decider was scored by Belarusian player Nikolai Yanush.
FC Dinamo Minsk defeated Finland’s MYPA at home 3-0. Having this result, football players from Minsk have virtually booked a place in the following round of Europa League.
FC Neman (Grodno) had a 1-1 draw in a match against Iceland’s Fimleikafelag Hafnarfjardar.
Second-leg games of this Europa League qualification round will take place on 24 July.
