Belarusian delegation takes part in a meeting of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Geneva

        Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov takes part in a meeting of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Geneva. The delegation also includes representatives of the Office of the Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs, the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Education, Information.
      During the meeting, Valentin Rybakov will present the combined periodic report of Belarus on the implementation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. In particular, the report will include information on national efforts to prevent discrimination or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin, to promote inter-cultural, inter-ethnic and inter-religious dialogue. Following consideration of the report the committee will provide recommendations to the Belarusian side.
