The customs services of Belarus and Russia are preparing a package of documents on integration

The customs services of Belarus and Russia are preparing a package of documents on integration, Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Vladimir Ivin told the media on 16 September, BelTA has learned. “A whole package of the Union State programs has been recently approved. One of the programs is aimed at developing integration in customs administration. In this regard, today's meeting of the board of the Customs Committee of the Union State will be special, as the board will have more executive practical functions in its activities. Today we will discuss and lay down the mechanisms that will enable us to prepare a package of documents for the implementation of integration processes within the short time frame outlined by the heads of state - from the interstate agreement to the documents of the Union State Council of Ministers and interagency documents,” Vladimir Ivin said. According to him, adjustments will affect almost all documents that previously defined the joint activities of the customs services of Belarus and Russia, and will bring it to a higher level.
