Belarusian Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Avramenko had a meeting with a delegation of the Eurasian Economic Commission led by Member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission Emil Kaikiyev, the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry told BelTA. Transport integration of the Eurasian Economic Union was on the agenda of the meeting. Aleksei Avramenko noted that over the years of cooperation they had managed to resolve issues of interest, including issues of interest for the Belarusian side. Progress was secured in reconciling views of the Eurasian Economic Union member states on understanding the strategic prospects of development of the transport complex and the creation of a mechanism for steady and progressive development. “I am convinced the meeting will serve to further enhance the effectiveness of interaction in the sphere of transport in the Eurasian Economic Union,” Aleksei Avramenko said.
