Belarusian-Russian oil balance to be adopted at the next session of the Union State Council of Ministers

         The oil balance of Belarus and Russia for 2014 may be signed at the forthcoming session of the Council of Ministers of the Belarus-Russia Union State. This announcement came from the Union State secretary Grigori Rapota. The official also added that the date of the Council of Ministers session will be specified in early autumn.

       There were no objections whatsoever from the Russian side and I hope that everything is going to be OK. There are two matters to consider here. The first one is formal adoption of the oil balance and the second – actual oil shipments. As far as I can see both the matters will be taken care of. Oil shipments are carried out on a quarterly basis and everything goes as it should. As for the formal procedures, it is likely that the balance will be adopted during the forthcoming session of the Union State  Council of Ministers.
