Export of the Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ to Ukraine rose by 10.8% in January-October 2020 year-on-year, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.“Ukraine is MTZ’s third largest tractor export market after Russia and Kazakhstan. MTZ operates an extensive dealer network with a lot of offices in all regions of Ukraine,” said Mikhail Vardugin, deputy marketing director for the CIS markets – head of the department for promotion and sales of products in the CIS.As for Russia and Kazakhstan, the MTZ distribution networks in these countries rely on sales of tractors by the world’s leading manufacturers. Entities of the MTZ distribution network cooperate with manufacturers under one-year framework contracts. In line with them, the entities of the distribution network purchase tractors and their spare parts and then market them via an extensive dealer network. “The tractor market of these countries is strategically important for MTZ. Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine have always boasted a well-developed agricultural sector that has become even more important in recent years,” Mikhail Vardugin noted.
