Lukashenko: Belarus will always be a friendly country for China

 

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming to present him the Order of Honor in recognition of his significant personal contribution to the development and strengthening of ties between Belarus and China. Belarus will always be a friendly country for China, Aleksandr Lukashenko said during the meeting:

You will soon be in Beijing. I ask you to convey my warmest words of gratitude to my friend, president of China, for the support he has always provided and especially the one provided recently. Tell him that he has reliable friends in Belarus and that Belarus will always be a friendly country for China.

 

 

The President emphasized the diplomat’s great services to the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation. Over the years of Cui Qiming’s work in Belarus the countries have significantly increased mutual trade. The head of state thanked China for assistance provided to help in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

 

The scope of cooperation between Belarus and China has been expanding, outgoing Ambassador told media following his meeting with head of state. He added that the exchange was becoming more frequent and the Chinese side welcomes achievements in the bilateral contacts.
