Experts to discuss Customs Union customs administration programs

Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Belarus Sergei Borisyuk

takes part in the fourth meeting of the Advisory Committee on Customs Regulation under the Eurasian Economic Commission in Moscow. The experts consider the procedure of customs declaration for international road transport vehicles in order to elaborate coordinated approaches for simplified crossing of the abovementioned vehicles registered in the Troika member states across the customs border of the Customs Union.

The participants of the meeting discuss the results of the comparative analysis of the national programs with an aim to improve customs administration in the short and long-term outlook. National programs of the kind are operational in many countries. Experts are to work out proposals aimed at improving the Customs Union legislation, developing new forms and methods of cooperation between government bodies.
