Belarus has created all the conditions to enable young people to realize themselves, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with gifted students and talented youth.
According to him, there are almost 800 gymnasia, lyceums, art schools, tens of thousands of hobby groups, studios, and scientific societies in the country. Science fairs and competitions, festivals, contests discover new talents every year. Young scientists, actors, artists and musicians receive support from special presidential funds. Young leaders with an active civil position make a considerable contribution to the operation of the Belarusian National Youth Union BRSM, which projects are also supported by the state.

Such attention to young talented people yields results. Last year Belarusian students brought the country over 50 medals at international academic competitions. Young singers and musicians have decently represented the country at prestigious festivals and contests winning nearly 100 diplomas and prizes.
The television show “I Can Sing” that lights up stars from among disabled children, orphans and young talents from one-parent and large families has already become a big event in the social life of the country. The TV show proves that people, no matter how hard their lives can be sometimes, can achieve success, if they have faith in their dreams.
