The dance company Lyavonikha will give a choreography master class in Daugavpils

The dance company Lyavonikha will give a choreography master class in Daugavpils, Latvia, we learnt from the Vitebsk Cultural Center.

The visit of this renowned amateur dance group to Latvia is scheduled for mid-April. The dance company is led by Vladislav Drake.

Taking part in the master class will be the folk song and dance company Svatra. The Latgalian dancers will be introduced to Belarusian traditional dances, including “Old village quadrille”.

The common strategic goals of the cross-border cooperation program “Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus” implemented within the framework of the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument are promoting teamwork between the border areas of Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus, improving the environmental situation in the region, striving for social and economic improvements, encouraging an intercultural dialogue and celebrating cultural diversity.
