At the Christmas meeting at the Belarusian embassy in Poland the winner of the contest “Discover Belarus” Jaroslaw Jedrzejszak (Poland) has received prizes from its organizers, i.e. radio “Belarus” and the NGO “Belarusian society of friendship and cultural ties with foreign states”. The meeting was attended by Belarus’ ambassador to Poland Victor Gaysionok, representatives of ethnic organizations of Belarusians from Warsaw and Bialystok, etc.
Jaroslaw Jedrzejszak expressed gratitude to radio “Belarus” and said he became a prizewinner largely thanks to the launch of the internet broadcast:

I listen to your radio almost every day. Now it is very convenient that the programs are broadcast in the internet. Earlier when they were transmitted only via radio waves, I had to be at home at a given time to switch on my receiver. Receive conditions were not always good enough. Now at any time I can listen to radio “Belarus”.
