Belarus, Germany hold ministerial consultations


        The Belarusian-German ministerial consultations took place in Berlin to highlight the OSCE issues, we learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
       The Belarusian delegation was led by head of the Pan-European Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denis Sidorenko. The delegation of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs was led by Antje Leendertse, Head of the Task Force for the 2016 German OSCE Chairmanship.
       The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the OSCE activity, including the development of a strategic dialogue on European security within the OSCE Helsinki +40 Process, the priorities of Germany’s forthcoming chairmanship in the OSCE in 2016, the preparations for the meeting of the OSCE Foreign Ministers Council in Belgrade (3-4 December) and the role of the organization in assisting the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis as well as Belarus-OSCE cooperation.
On the same day the representative of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also took part in the meeting of the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum which is annually organized by the Korber Foundation jointly with the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
