Virtual reading hall of Belarus' National Library opens in Moscow

A virtual reading hall of the National Library of Belarus has opened in the Russian capital. The opening ceremony was hosted by the business and culture complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia, BelTA reports. During the ceremony, Director of the National Library Roman Motulsky noted that the hall has been created specially for the Belarusian community in Russia. It gives access to information that is not available from anywhere else. The virtual reading hall provides its users with an opportunity to obtain almost any kind of information about Belarus, its culture, economy, science, tourism, history, etc. Besides, it provides links to full-text historical documents deposited in the National Library of Belarus. “The project will be further developed. The hall can be of use to a wide range of people,” Roman Motulsky noted. “I am convinced that the virtual reading hall will give a fresh impetus to the activities of the Belarusian community in Russia,” Charge d'Affaires ad interim of Belarus in Russia Yuri Yaroshevich stressed.
