Exhibition of Belarusian children’s drawings shown at Council of Europe


       The Tufelki (Shoes) short film was screened and an exhibition of children's drawings “War and Peace through Children's Eyes” was shown as part of Belarus-initiated event at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the Belarusian Embassy in France reported.
      The Shoes movie is a joint production by Belarus, Russia, Poland, the USA, Czechia, and France. The film commemorates the Holocaust victims. The exhibition of children's drawings “War and Peace through Children's Eyes” in the building of the Council of Europe features the works by the students of the Zhdanovichi boarding school for hearing impaired children located in Minsk region. Belarusian Ambassador to France Pavel Latushko addressed the audience at the beginning of the event. Pavel Latushko stressed the importance of preserving the historical memory of the events of World War II.
