Museums of Great Patriotic War of Belarus and Russia to jointly organize an exhibition

The museums of the Great Patriotic War of Belarus and Russia will jointly organize an exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in Moscow. The exhibition We were Together in the Fight Against Nazism will open on Poklonnaya Gora on 28 April, BelTA quotes the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State. The exhibition will vividly depict the main stages of the Great Patriotic War. Some of the items from the holdings of the Belarusian and Russian museums will be put on display for the first time. The items include paintings, graphics, sculptures, works of decorative and applied arts, documents, print products (posters, newspapers, books, and brochures), and personal effects of soldiers such as uniforms, decorations, and arms.

“The exhibition will recreate the events of those years on the basis of original exhibits and evidence that demonstrate our unbreakable friendship ties and the patriotism of our peoples who jointly fought for our common Victory,” the Permanent Committee of the Belarus-Russia Union State said.
