BC “Tsmoki-Minsk” lost their second home game in succession of the United VTB League.

       On the 15th of October BC “Tsmoki-Minsk” lost their second home match in succession of the United VTB League. That time to Russian BC Nizhniy Novgorod with the score 66:93. The top scorer on our team in that game was Alexander Kudryavtsev, who scored 17 points.
So now after two matchdays BC “Tsmoki-Minsk” occupy last place in group B.
      Let’s note that by the results of the preliminary stage, after all teams in a group play with each other on a home and away basis,  two best placed teams will directly promote to the quarterfinals. Teams that occupy places from 3rd to 6th will face each other in the playoffs for promotion to the quarterfinals.
The Belarusian team takes part in the competition for the third time. Before the current season the team was called “Minsk-2006”. During previous two seasons the Belarusian club failed to promote to the playoffs of the tournament.
