Belarusian food producers thoroughly checked in response to Russia’s import ban

All the Belarusian companies, against whose products Russia has introduced a temporary ban, have been thoroughly checked, BelTA quotes Belarusian Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo from the meeting involving representatives of the Belarusian ministry and the Russian side. “In particular, lab tests have been carried out. Today we can provide the entire package of documents concerning the lab control of incoming and outgoing raw materials, the quality of products within borders of both Belarus and Russia,” noted Igor Brylo.
“We have lately increased the number of samples tested specifically by Russian labs many times over. We would like the Russian side to treat Belarusian companies on a case by case basis in order to re-open a number of enterprises without systemic violations today or tomorrow at the latest,” said Igor Brylo.
