Belarus demonstrates a steadily developing election system of a European democratic state, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia Vladimir Churov told BelTA.
 
The head of the Russian CEC tookg part in an international conference on elections hosted by the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk. He also met with Chairperson of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina. “Here we are working on the issues directly related to the best practices of organizing the elections,” Vladimir Churov said commenting on the conference.
 
Speaking about the participation of OSCE representatives in the conference, the head of the Russian CEC noted that the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation enjoys stable cooperation with the OSCE/ODIHR, including cooperation in e-voting.
