Road to the Holy Places expedition to depart from Minsk 28 August

        The national scientific and educational expedition "Road to the Holy Places" dedicated to the 20th Belarusian Written Language Day will depart from Minsk on 28 August.
       The expedition with the Holy Light from the Holy Sepulcher will follow the route Minsk - Holy Field near the village of Zagorie - Stolovichy (Brest Oblast) - Stolbtsy - Krugloye, Dribin, Ryasno - Chausy, Gamarnya and Barkolabovo (Mogilev Oblast). On 1 September the expedition will arrive at Bykhov, which hosts the Belarusian Written Language Day this year.
       The festival organizers have prepared an extensive program. For example, it includes a concert and festival of the towns-hosts the Belarusian Written Language Day: Polotsk, Turov, Novogrudok, Nesvizh, Orsha, Pinsk, Zaslavl, Mstislavl, Mir, Kamenets, Postavy, Shklov, Smorgon, Borisov, Khoiniki, Gantsevichy, Glubokoye.
       The winners of the nationwide contest for the best literary work will be honored during the grand opening of the festival. The festivities in honor of the Belarusian Written Language Day in Bykhov will feature exhibitions, arts presentations and meetings, history dramatized expositions and concerts.
