Belarus’ MPs to focus on economic matters at autumn session

          Economic matters will be in the focus during the forthcoming autumn session of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said at a session of the Council of the House of Representatives.
This will be the first time the current composition of the House of Representatives will pass a budget law for the next year. The speaker emphasized that this law will come with some other important economic documents.
        A total of 52 documents are now studied by the House of Representatives. Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Viktor Guminsky informed that 45 documents have already been included in the tentative agenda of the session, of which 11 documents will be discussed in the first reading, 30 documents in the second reading and the rest are to be ratified. The Permanent Commission for National Security accounts for the majority of draft laws. 
          Viktor Guminsky informed that substantial amendments will be introduced to the Electoral Code; amendments to the Labor Code will be discussed in the second reading in December. The MPs are also set to pass amendments related to pricing, trade, etc.
