Vnesheconombank, Bank BelVEB, Development Bank sign memorandum of cooperation

        Russia’s Vnesheconombank, Bank BelVEB of Belarus and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
        The interaction of the banks is expected to make Belarusian and Russian economies more competitive, diversified and robust, give a boost to business activities by means of investment, economic, advisory and other measures. A focus will be placed on investment and infrastructure projects within the framework of government programs of Russia and Belarus, as well as interstate projects and other joint projects. 
        In line with the memorandum, the parties will take part in deals implemented as part of Russia-Belarus integration, investment, trade and economic projects. The memorandum also envisages joint efforts to promote Belarusian and Russian products on the market of the two states and third countries, facilitate export of high-tech industrial goods (works, services), including by means of covering export risks by Export Insurance Agency of Russia and Eximgarant of Belarus.
