Belarus Premier in favor of strategic approach to animal husbandry

        A complex approach should be practiced when trying to accomplish tasks in the Belarusian animal husbandry industry. Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich made the statement as he visited Stolin District of Brest region.Speaking about the fulfillment of instructions issued by the head of state, the Prime Minister drew close attention to the measures taken in Belarus to improve the performance of the agriculture. Now the country can harvest a number of crops twice a year. As far as animal husbandry is concerned, Mikhail Myasnikovich pointed out the industry lacks a complex approach for now. “We build excellent farms, including equipment, milking parlors, but we need high-yield cattle, too,” pointed out the Prime Minister. The matters Mikhail Myasnikovich touched upon included training the personnel for the agribusiness industry. Agriculture needs people, who can use modern technologies, he stressed. In his opinion, university degree is not mandatory for it. Mikhail Myasnikovich suggested practicing a more serious attitude towards preparing and holding educational seminars.
