Belarus in favor of non-discriminatory attitude to all Eastern Partnership Initiative countries

All the countries of the Eastern Partnership Initiative should enjoy an equal non-discriminatory approach. The statement was made by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei after the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership Initiative member states in Brussels.
“Several things are of principal importance for us and they were outlined in our speech within the framework of the meeting. We believe that all the countries of the Eastern Partnership Initiative should enjoy an equal non-discriminatory approach,” said the Belarusian Foreign Minister.
“We clearly stated that sanctions that are now used by the European Union with regard to Belarus should be abolished because they damage our relations and benefit neither Belarus nor the European Union,” remarked Vladimir Makei.
The Belarusian Foreign Minister was convinced that an equal and sterling dialogue should be the instrument to resolve all the existing problems.
