Belarus ambassador, UAE discuss investment cooperation

            Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Roman Golovchenko and Chairman of the Economic Development Department of Abu Dhabi Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi have held a meeting, which focused on promising avenues of cooperation. This included joint efforts in the production sector, petrochemical industry, agriculture, and banking. Close attention was paid to matters of investment cooperation, including in view of the Single Economic Space.
      Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi is also the head of the board of directors of the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), which is one of the country’s top commercial banks, the Abu Dhabi stock exchange, the railway operator Etihad Rail, and is part of the management team of Mubadala Development Company, which is one of the world’s largest sovereign investment funds.
