Turkey intends to expand cooperation with Belarus in many areas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Belarus Mustafa Ozcan told the media after the credentials ceremony in Minsk on 3 November, BelTA has learned. "Very soon we will present concrete proposals on ways to develop our trade and economic cooperation," the ambassador said. The diplomat stressed that he is going to work closely with Turkish businessmen and their partners in Belarus to promote trade, economic, investment projects and jointly tap the markets of third countries. Turkey is particularly interested in the industrial sector as this industry is well-developed in Belarus. He also touched on the development of Belarusian-Turkish cooperation in tourism, which, according to the diplomat, should be strengthened.
