Belarus seeks to increase export of medicines to Tajikistan

          Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan Olga Gavruk met with Minister of Health of Tajikistan Nusratullo Salimov to discuss cooperation prospects in the healthcare sector.
Olga Gavruk said that Belarus would like to intensify bilateral ties, which pertains to the export of pharmaceuticals, provision of healthcare services, and participation in tenders to supply equipment.
Nusratullo Salimov noted that the healthcare ministries of the two countries developed constructive cooperation. He expressed interest in post-graduate education and internships for Tajik doctors at Belarusian healthcare institutions. 
      “The sides agreed to focus on expanding the deliveries of Belarusian medicines and medical equipment, providing educational services and sharing best practices in transplant surgeries,” the press service informed.
