Chergeiko wins bronze at ISSF Rifle/Pistol World Cup in Germany

       Belarus' shooter Ilya Chergeiko won the men’s 10m air rifle bronze at the third ISSF Rifle/Pistol World Cup in Germany’s Munich.
Two other Belarusians partook in the men’s 10m air rifle event. Yuri Shcherbatsevich was 6th in the qualification with 626.2 points while Vitaly Bubnovich came in 8th place with 625.8 points. In the final Vitaly Bubnovich was 7th (102.3 points) and Yuri Shcherbatsevich 8th (79.2 points).
Ilya Chergeiko, 20, earlier won the men’s 10m air rifle gold and silver medals at a tournament in Munich in January 2013. At the 2013 ISSF European Championship in Odense, Denmark, the Belarusian team won the men’s 10m air rifle bronze.
       Three other Belarusians (Yekaterina Bubnovich, Svetlana Shcherbatsevich, and Svetlana Budko) failed to get through the women’s 10m air rifle qualification.
