Belarus’ participation in international technical assistance projects benefits agro-ecotourism

        Belarus’ participation in international technical assistance projects contributes to the development of agro-ecotourism, Director of the Tourism Department of the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry Vadim Karmazin said at a forum for sustainable development.
According to Vadim Karmazin, the agro-ecotourism has recently gotten a boost thanks to the participation in the project “Consolidation of public interaction for sustainable development of the agricultural regions of Belarus.” In particular, Vadim Karmazin praised the work on the opening of information centers on sustainable development, agro-ecotourism and agricultural business in various towns in Belarus.
Participation in this and other international projects contributed to the rise in the number of farmsteads in 2012, Vadim Karmazin noted.
