MAZ new director introduced to company personnel

         Prime Minister of Belarus Mr Mikhail Myasnikovich presented Mr Viktor Osnovsky, new Director General of the public joint-stock company Minsk Automobile Plant – the management company of the holding company BelavtoMAZ, before the corporation’s workers.
The head of government said he is confident that with the appointment of the new executive the corporation will improve its manufacturing and economic performance. A lot has been done in these areas already. Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) demonstrates good financial indicators, has a large intellectual and manufacturing potential.
       Yet the company has to work in conditions of tough competition in the CIS and non-CIS markets. Taking into account the overproduction of merchandise in the world and excessive supply Belarusian products should be competitive primarily thanks to the price, quality and service, the Prime Minister is convinced.
It is necessary to penetrate new markets, establish joint ventures, and build new assembly enterprises abroad.
