CIS calls on Azerbaijan, Armenia to reach compromise on Nagorny Karabakh

        Azerbaijan and Armenia should reach a compromise to settle the situation in Nagorny Karabakh, BelTA quotes Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev. He noted that all countries of the CIS are concerned about the conflict in Nagorny Karabakh and the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The issue was discussed at the recent meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council in Moscow. He expressed hope that the concerted efforts of the countries of the CIS and the OSCE Minsk Group will contribute to the settlement of the situation.
