The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater will bring its production Vitaut to Moscow, Belarus’ First Deputy Culture Minister Irina Driga told a press conference.
The play, which tells about the formation of the Belarusian nation, the struggle between the principalities, and the politics in the 14-15th centuries, will be shown at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia at the end of June. The ballet has been included in the program of the Days of Belarusian Culture in Russia. Preparations are already underway for such a cultural visit, said Irina Driga.The so-called Belarusian seasons are timed to coincide with the Days of Culture. They will be hosted by the Business and Cultural Center of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia in June.
