        Belarusians will not let their country plunge into the whirlpool of chaos and discord, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in his address to Soviet internationalist soldiers, veterans of the war in Afghanistan on the occasion of the anniversary of the Soviet troops’ withdrawal from Afghanistan, the press service of the Belarusian leader reports. Hundreds of young Belarusians died in that war. “We will never forget the feat of the veterans of local conflicts involving Belarusian people,” the President stressed.
