       Belarus and Vietnam are set to implement joint education innovation projects, Deputy Education Minister Viktor Yakzhik told a press briefing.
       The Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) jointly with the Scientific Energy Institute under the Vietnamese Academy of Sciences and Technology is working on the program for the Renewable Energy Resources in Energy Saving Construction project. The Hanoi University of Science and Technology confirmed its interest in developing partner relations with the BNTU and approved its participation in the joint Computer Modeling of the Hot Pressing Process project.
      This school year, the universities of Belarus are planning to enroll 7 Vietnamese nationals for the second stage of tertiary education and internship, and the universities of Vietnam confirmed readiness to enroll four academic stuffers from the Belarusian State University for research internship. All in all, in the 2011/2012 academic year, 108 Vietnamese citizens attended universities in Belarus.
       Cooperation in education is also based on 21 direct inter-university agreements. Today the two countries are considering signing the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education and a protocol of intent between the education ministries.
