Belarus eager to export more to Netherlands

       About 200 representatives of Belarusian and Dutch companies, banks, chambers of commerce and industry, state institutions, municipal authorities, and educational establishments have taken part in the Belarus-Netherlands business forum “Twenty years of economic partnership: key achievements and further prospects”. Held in Hague, the event was organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Netherlands in association with the Minsk office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told media. According to the source, representatives of the business circles of Belarus and Netherlands reached an agreement to raise Belarusian export to Netherlands and to step up investment cooperation. The decision to arrange a visit of Dutch business circles to Belarus in 2013 was made. The sides will also consider creating a Belarusian-Dutch business council. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Netherlands Ms Yelena Gritsenko informed about dynamics of Belarus-Netherlands trade, economic, and investment cooperation in the last ten years. The Belarusian diplomat informed forum participants about the country’s industrial, agricultural, technological, and transit potential.
