The second round of a dialogue between Belarus and the European Union on economic and financial matters will be held in Brussels on 21 November, we learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.
“The participants of the meeting will discuss the macroeconomic situation in Belarus, the major targets of the fiscal policy and Belarus’ public debt. They will also analyze economic trends in the European Union, aftermath of the financial crisis in the eurozone and the EU efforts to overcome the crisis. Besides, the parties will discuss the major guidelines of the monetary policy and the banking systems of Belarus and the European Union,” the Foreign Ministry said. Besides, Belarus will inform the counterparts about the course of privatization and economic liberalization, the state of things in the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Belarus’ delegation will be led by Deputy Economy Minister of Belarus Mr Dmitry Golukhov.
The Foreign Ministry reminded that the first round of the dialogue was held in Minsk on 6 October 2011.
