Lukashenko: Positive dynamics of Belarus-EU dialogue will help normalize relations


      The positive dynamics which has emerged in the dialogue with the EU recently, will lead to the full normalization of relations, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he received credentials from foreign ambassadors:

      “Belarus intends to remain a reliable and consistent partner of the countries you represent. I am confident that your diplomatic mission will help intensify and develop our relations and help find new areas for cooperation. Due to its geographic location and a number of objective reasons Belarus attaches significant importance to relations with the EU. The situation in the region, common threats and challenges require solid contacts and the search of common solutions. Belarus is interested in the expansion of the trade, economic, investment cooperation with the European Union. Joint infrastructure projects in transport, energy sector other industries, the development of the legal framework can be beneficial.
        We hope that the positive dynamics which has emerged in the dialogue with the EU recently, will lead to the full normalization of relations. We must advance these relations to a brand-new level which will satisfy the interests of the two sides.”
