Over 40 countries eager to cooperate with EEU

        More than 40 countries are interested in cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Member of the Eurasian Economic Commission (Minister) for Industry and Agriculture Sergei Sidorsky said at the plenary meeting “Industrial integration in the Eurasian Economic Union” which is held as part of the 2015 Belarusian Industrial Forum. “Our Eurasian association is getting larger every year. Apart from that, we are holding talks with other countries, including with our close neighbors. More than 40 states are interested in working with the EEU. And the issues we are discussing today are not limited the level of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia,” he stressed.
      Sergei Sidorsky said that the Eurasian Economic Commission will submit a document which highlights major short-term guidelines of the EEU industrial policy. In his words, the unified subsidies policy, tariff regulation, technical regulations, single competition rules and the channel of access to public procurement contracts for economic operators are the main areas of focus.
