Arab businesses invited to take part in Belarus Investment Forum

         Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich has invited Arab businesses to take part in the Belarus Investment Forum. Mikhail Myasnikovich extended the invitation as he met with Mr Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, head of Al Habtoor Group, UAE.
         The Prime Minister underlined the high level of political trust between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates. The Belarusian official said: “Since your company has half a century of experience in investment, we’ve tried to form the program taking into account your interests. We know about the great influence you enjoy in your country and the rest of the world. We will be very glad to welcome you as investors and trade partners because we have very many joint interesting projects to be implemented”.
        “We have very great hopes regarding the UAE business participation in two major events that will take place in Belarus this year,” said Mikhail Myasnikovich. The Belarus Investment Forum, which is scheduled to take place in November, is one of the events.  Besides, there is an agreement with the Arab side to hold the first session of the Belarus-UAE intergovernmental committee on cooperation this year.
        In turn, Khalaf Al Habtoor thanked the Belarusian side for organizing the meeting and praised the unlimited hospitality of the Belarusian nation. He also said he had made familiar with several sites offered for investment projects earlier that day.
